Napa Winery’s Estate-Grown Cabernet Sauvignon Makes the Perfect Gift for Wine Enthusiasts
McGah Family Cellars, an award-winning Napa Valley winery, has introduced a Library Wines Collection for the holiday season. Created with the wine enthusiast in mind, the collection features four vintages (2006 – 2009) of the winery’s ultra-premium Scarlett Cabernet Sauvignon. Although they have been sold out for some time, a limited number of library wines are being released from the cellars exclusively for the holidays. The Library Wines Collection retails for $199.00 and can be ordered online at www.mcgcellars.com.
The McGah family’s history in Northern California began over a century ago when E.W. McGah first put down roots in the San Francisco bay area. In 1960, he co-founded the Oakland Raiders football franchise, a proud legacy for which the McGah family is still known today. Scarlett Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted exclusively from the finest fruit grown on the family’s 65-acre vineyard estates in Rutherford. Widely considered to be one of the premier sources of Napa Valley fruit, Rutherford is known for its unique terroir, particularly with Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are hand selected each year to ensure consistency in quality vintage after vintage.
“Wine is always an excellent gift choice, whether you are shopping for business associates, family members or friends,” said Mattie Cooper, president, McGah Family Cellars. “Wine is universally enjoyed and provides the perfect accompaniment to holiday festivities. For colleagues and clients especially, the Library Wines Collection represents a sophisticated and thoughtful gift.”
