About Brandon Lockman:
Bartender Brandon Lockman was born with the restaurant business in his blood. As a small child he would watch his father bake before breakfast service started at the family’s restaurant on the Oregon coast. Later, along with his brother, he would be tasked with washing dishes, a task that would eventually serve him well.

While attending Portland State University and studying graphic design, Brandon got a job as a busser at Red Star to help pay the bills. When a job opened up behind the bar, and a co-worker encouraged him to take it… he was hooked. That was back in 2004. He never left.

“It’s become a passion of mine to master old techniques and seek out new ones. It keeps me on my toes and I love reintroducing my guests to forgotten cocktails, as well as showing them some of my latest and greatest creations.”

He is partial to American whiskies, ryes and bourbons, fitting for a bartender at a bar that prides itself on one of the biggest whiskey selections in town.

When he’s not crafting cocktails, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and family, and his dog Beans.
