Sta. Rita Hills Winegrowers BBQ Buffet at Marina Kitchen on March 30, 2014
Marina Kitchen is hosting the Sta. Rita Hills Winegrowers Alliance for a wine-filled weekend on Sunday, March 30. The Sunday event starts with a walk-around wine tasting from twenty member wineries, followed by a BBQ dinner buffet featuring live-action food stations, large format bottles, and several Sta. Rita Hills wines not available at the preceding tasting.
“Chef Aron and I have collaborated to design a BBQ dinner buffet menu that will be able to stand its own against all of these amazing wines from Sta. Rita Hills,” said in-house sommelier and bar manager, Joshua Orr. “We’re really excited about partnering with the Sta. Rita Hills Winegrowers Alliance, which has made a name for itself in the wine world. The combination of great wine, great food, and the company of great winemakers will make this event a triple-threat.”
The wineries that are currently confirmed for the event include: Zotovich Vineyards and Winery, Brewer Clifton, Flying Goat Cellars, Harley Ostini, Hitching Post Wine, Longoria Wines, Lafond Winery & Vineyards, Cargasacchi Vineyards, Clos Pepe Vineyards, Cold Heaven Cellars, Dragonette Cellars, Fiddlehead Cellars, Foxen Winery, Ken Brown Wines, Kessler-Haak Wine, Kita Wines, Lindley Wines, Pali Wine Company, and Liquid Farm.
