Steakhouse to Launch Summer Dinner Series

An annual must among foodies and cocktail enthusiasts, the Summer Dinner Series is returning to Meat Market locations in Miami Beach and Palm Beach. South Florida’s sizzling contemporary steakhouse, known for its bustling bar scene and stellar cocktail program, will be hosting the first of a series of four-course, curated spirits dinners this June.

The monthly series kicks off in Miami Beach on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, featuring four sumptuous courses of Executive Chef/Co-Owner Sean Brasel’s creative contemporary cuisine, paired with inventive libations by award-winning mixologist Ezra Pattek. The dinner, priced at $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity) will start with a cocktail reception at 7:30PM, followed by the sit-down dinner at 8PM. The series debuts in Palm Beach on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 with a 7PM cocktail reception and dinner at 7:30PM.

“Building off Chef Sean’s dishes, the cocktails are inspired by seasonal summer ingredients,” says Pattek. “We’re working with fresh and local Florida grapefruit, watermelon, peach and assorted citrus.  All, naturally, complement the spirits we selected for the dinner – Pisco, Grapefruit Vodka, Rye, and Tequila – and work perfectly in summer-inspired cocktails.”

This dinner series launched a few seasons ago in Miami Beach and became sold-out affairs; the expectation is for that trend to continue in Miami Beach and Palm Beach, which is approaching its first summer.
