This round’s on us!  HOOCH, the newest must-download app for NYC hip sippers echoes the Prohibition Era speakeasies and creates a modern day, virtual cocktail society. The brainchild of nightlife veteran Aleksey Kernes (Hotel Chantelle), tech industry expert Lin Dai (Keek, Emmis NY and Alloy Media + Marketing) and digital marketing entrepreneur Jared Christopher (Yellow Hammer Ad Agency), HOOCH is the first app that creates a private cocktail society and grants its users a complimentary cocktail per day at some of New York City’s top cocktail bars, elite lounges and premiere restaurants.  Just browse through HOOCH’s curated list of venues, choose your destination, and your first drink is free, every single night.

How it works: New members must be invited by existing HOOCH members. Once invited, members pay $9.99/month (less than the price of one cocktail) or $99/per year, a new feature for the official launch. In return, they receive one cocktail a day (which resets at 5am EST) at one of the participating venues, such as Pagani, Von, Hotel Chantelle, Sweet and Vicious, Monarch, Pergola, BXL, Atwood, De Santos, The Late Late, Los Feliz, Troy Liquor Bar, L&W Oyster Co., and more. Creating a ‘cool’ club for stylish New Yorkers in the know, HOOCH introduces its members to new places to see-and-be-seen and buys the first round.

HOOCH soft-launched in beta mode during summer 2015 and will officially launch November 19, 2015. Available to download for free in the Apple App Store and on Google Play.
