De Noche Mexicana and The Harding Tavern Celebrate Cinco de Mayo
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Logan Square with margaritas and mariachis at De Noche Mexicana and The Harding Tavern on Thursday, May 5, 2016. Mariachis will roam between the two locations from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Weather permitting, both locations will have their spacious patios open.
Time Out Chicago recently named De Noche Mexicana as having one of the 12 best margaritas in Chicago http://www.timeout.com/chicago/bars/best-margaritas-in-chicago, and the new La Bandera Margarita flight made with Don Julia tequila is no exception. Debuting on Cinco de Mayo and available throughout the month of May, the flight will feature a red hibiscus margarita, a white coconut margarita, and a green cucumber and cilantro margarita representative of the Mexican flag for $25, or $11 if served individually in a standard margarita glass.
The Harding Tavern will feature an Ay Ay Ay Margarita made of Tequila El Destilador, triple sec, lime juice, orange and habanero bitters for $11 plus a Beer and a Shot offering of Oskar Blues Beerito Mexican lager with a shot of Tequila El Destilador for $7. Executive Chef Antonio Del Real will create authentic Mexican dishes at both locations for featured specials.
