A “cocky” rainbow decanter by Riedel for Elton John AIDS Foundation

In time with Pride Month 2018, and as a celebration of tolerance, acceptance and hope, Riedel is debuting its newest colorful collaboration with the Elton John AIDS Foundation.  Named after the Indonesian breed of black roosters, the Ayam Rainbow Decanter is Riedel’s brand-new limited-edition release, in celebration and support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation.  With the same curved form as the original Riedel Ayam Decanter, this eye-catching eruption of color can stand as a festive centerpiece or dangle from a table’s edge, thanks to its perfect balance.

This mouthblown decanter boasts a spectrum of colors, including a silver streak in honor of EJAF’s 25th anniversary. Like its less colorful predecessor, the Rainbow Ayam double-decants your wine as it flows through the chambers, meaning the wine is aerated as it’s poured in and out of the piece (something of a Riedel trademark). The second piece created by Riedel for the EJAF, the limited-edition Ayam Rainbow Decanter will be sold at select retailers and via inquiry to www.riedelusa.net for $2,250.
