Sebago Lake Distillery Serves Up Fall Cocktail Line-Up

Sebago Lake Distillery is serving up delicious fall cocktail recipes that perfectly complement the distillery’s three distinct, handcrafted 100% pot still rum brands. Each recipe was created to highlight the nuances of the rums and enhance the season’s cool autumn evenings and welcoming get together whether at home or out at a favorite bar or restaurant.

 

Vigorous Pink Daiquiri:

3 oz. Sebago Lake Distillery’s Original Rum

Juice of 1 lime (about 1 oz.)

0.5 oz. Grenadine

Shake and strain into a chilled up glass for a properly vigorous cocktail.

Spider-Island Sling

1.5 oz. Sebago Lake Distillery Spider Island Rum

0.5 oz. Cointreau (triple-sec works too)

3 oz. fresh pineapple juice

0.5 oz. fresh lime juice (juice of ½ lime)

Grenadine for color (about 0.3 oz.)

Shake with ice and strain into a Collins glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a cherry.  Add a few cubes from the shaker to your glass if you’re out in the hot sun and there’s a risk of your cocktail getting warm.

 

SLD Brunch Bomb

1.5 oz. Sebago Lake Distillery KOPI Coffee Rum

16 oz. of your favorite Porter or Stout

 

Fill a pint glass with your favorite Porter or Stout.  Take a generous swig of the beer to make a little room and to settle your nerves, then add the Rum. Unlike a mimosa, you don’t need to stick your pinky up while you’re drinking your Brunch Bomb, but you certainly can if you’re feeling frisky.
