Master-Bilt Names the Jay Mark Group New Sales Representatives

Master-Bilt®, manufacturer and supplier of a full line of premier commercial refrigeration equipment, is pleased to announce The Jay Mark Group as their newest independent sales and marketing representatives effective August 1, 2019. The Jay Mark Group will be representing Master-Bilt in the Northern and Central Illinois region.

The Jay Mark Group represents top manufacturers of foodservice equipment and supplies for the key market segments including restaurants, c-stores, retail, supermarkets, schools/universities, and business and industry (B&I). Established in 1990, The Jay Mark Group has a well-trained staff of four outside sales people and six full-time inside sales people allowing a lot of support to its customers.

“We try to be more than just a standard rep group for our customers. Along with our sales and support staff, we also have a full-time chef on staff and offer a 1,500 square foot test kitchen to our customers as well,” noted Jim Heffernan, Partner and President of The Jay Mark Group. “It is one thing for sales people to ask questions about what the customer’s equipment needs are but oftentimes our chef can ask questions and offer a different perspective on fully analyzing their needs which proves to be highly beneficial” Heffernan added.

“Master-Bilt definitely offers products that we don’t currently rep, opening up new doors for us,” said Heffernan. “Equipment such as Master-Bilt’s open air merchandisers allows us different opportunities for the grab-and-go marketplace,” Heffernan noted.
