Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine, the cutting-edge restaurant located inside Pendry Hotel in the heart of San Diego’s famed Gaslamp Quarter will host a special Friendsgiving with Thanksgiving Eve dining menu curated by James Beard Smart Catch Leader and Executive Chef Jose “JoJo” Ruiz. This year, to start, Lionfish will offer Baked Brie with berry jam, herbs and grilled bread and the butternut salad mixed with arugula, quina, herb, goat cheese drizzled with red wine dressing. For the entree, enjoy Chef JoJo’s truffle buttered turkey served with twice baked mashed potatoes topped with pancetta, scallions sour cream and aged white cheddar.
The special Thanksgiving Eve menu will be offered alongside their regular dinner menu on Wednesday, November 27th from 5:00 p.m. to close.
