Atlanta Chef Maximizes Midnight with Special Brunch

On Friday, December 6, Chef Aleem of Plated Pleasures LLC, GA will host his ever popular and successful Midnight Brunch at his event space in East Point, GA. Midnight Brunch buffet and menu service begins at midnight and ends at 5 am.

The Midnight Brunch grand opening was held on October 4, 2019. The opening was highly successful with over 150 people attending throughout the course of the evening and an additional 20 people purchasing to-go plates. “I knew we had a hit,” said Chef Aleem, “we’ve been going strong each Friday night since, increasing in numbers and branching out to sell more menu items along with the brunch buffet,” he added.

Owner and Executive Chef, Chef Aleem is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts of Atlanta. Although he takes pride in his formal training, he will be the first to tell you that his passion and love for preparing his appetizing meals came first from his mama’s kitchen. Only later when he found himself the single father of three young children after the untimely passing of their mother, did he take preparing balanced nutritious meals to the next level. He continued to cultivate his culinary skills at home with the kids and catering for friends and family. Later, after enrolling in Le Cordon Bleu, he began to develop and strengthen his skills at the finest restaurants in Atlanta including Spice-Asian Fusion, Mitra-Latin Fusion and Silk-Euro.

Plated Pleasures is Chef Aleem’s second restaurant venture. His vast culinary and event expertise coupled with restaurant ownership experience has him poised to make a huge impact in the Greater Atlanta area. Found in East Point, GA, The Plated Lounge is beautifully decorated with a full-service kitchen and dining room. The event space is perfect for private parties and special events. Additionally, the Plated Lounge hosts the Plated Pleasures Catering crew where meals are prepared for professionals, international recording artists, musicians, families and special events to include services at the new Tyler Perry Studios. In addition, his private chef services take Chef Aleem on the road throughout the United States and abroad for notable entertainers.

The Midnight Brunch opens this Friday at midnight and closes at 5 am. The brunch buffet is $25 per person. Chef Aleem’s Plated Menu is also available and changes each Friday night. Menu items vary but have included Plated Oxtails n’ Grits, French Lobster Omelette, Deep South Fried Green Tomatoes, Plated Chicken n’ Waffles, Whole Creole Red Snapper, Grilled Lamb Chops and more all prepared gourmet-style and served in the Plated Lounge’s soulful-chic environment. Partnered with a local Live DJ, the vibe is always set at the Plated Lounge for a great time with great eats. Takeout plates are available for purchase of either the buffet or any menu item.
