SMOKE LAB VODKA SERVES UP COCKTAIL RECIPES THAT BRING A MODERN PERSPECTIVE TO THIS YEAR’S SPRING CELEBRATIONS

SMOKE LAB, India’s new age vodka, is serving up three delicious cocktail recipes to help usher in the arrival and renewal of spring. Each cocktail celebrates the distinct qualities of the distiller’s newest venture – SMOKE LAB Classic Vodka and SMOKE LAB Aniseed flavored Vodka – that debuted in the United States in October 2020.

 

SMOKE LAB Classic Vodka is an ultra-pure spirit immersed in intrigue.  It opens with fresh nutty aromas and hints of citrus fruits and unfolds into an Intensity and complexity on the palate. The finish is subtle citrus fruits with hints of nutty characters. SMOKE LAB Aniseed Vodka is a playful exploration of a much-loved Indian herb with refreshing notes of fennel and licorice finishing with a creamy, sweetness and delicate fennel blossom note on the palate. The following recipes were specifically developed to highlight the exceptional character of the vodkas:

 

SMOKE LAB ANISE

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ oz. Smoke Lab Aniseed Vodka

¼ oz. Vermouth

1/3 oz. Fresh lime juice

1/3 oz. Sancha tea honey syrup

1 Egg White

 

METHOD

In a shaker filled with ice, measure the above ingredients and shake well. Serve strained into a tumbler glass with ice. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a slice of dehydrated orange.

 

BLACK MIST

INGREDIENTS

2 oz. Smoke Lab Aniseed Vodka

2 tsp. dried cranberries

1 Orange wedge squeezed/1 dehydrated orange slice

3 drops orange bitters

 

METHOD

In a tumbler, pour Smoke Lab Aniseed and dried cranberries and muddle until the flavors are released. Add three drops of orange bitters and squeeze a fresh wedge of orange and drop. Overfill the glass with crushed ice. Garnish with dried cranberries and dehydrated orange.

 

SMOKE & TONIC

INGREDIENTS

1 oz. Smoke Vodka Classic

1/2 oz. Aperol

1/2 oz. White Wine

Grapefruit tonic water

Fresh grapefruit and rice water shrub

 

METHOD

Shake all ingredients together. Strain into a tall glass with ice and top with tonic. Garnish with a long orange peel and serve.
