Main Street Santa Monica’s Best Eateries, Juiceries and Coffee Shops Offer Tastings & Specials in Game Board-Style Event and Help Raise Money for Heal the Bay and Summer SOULstice

4th Annual MAINopoly: A Taste of Main Street Returns Memorial DayWHAT:

Summer kicks off on Main Street with the 4th Annual MAINopoly: Taste of Main Street. This event will take place on Sunday, May 28th from 3-8 p.m. at the street’s best food and beverage establishments to raise funds for Summer SOULstice and Heal the Bay. MAINopoly is a fun, interactive community event that mirrors the classic board game, and gives participants a culinary walking tour of Main Street’s finest restaurants, juiceries, ice cream stores, coffee shops and more.

Attendees will receive food tastings in exchange for “MAINopoly” dollars, which will feature items such as fresh fish ceviche from Enterprise Fish Co., falafel bites from Bareburger, gelato samples from Dolcenero Gelato, chicken and waffles from Areal Restaurant, cold brew coffee tastings from Espresso Cielo and many more. Select restaurants will also be offering drink specials, including $4 draft beers and $5 cocktails and $5 shots for those with the official wristband.4th Annual MAINopoly: A Taste of Main Street Returns Memorial Day

Other activities include beer gardens, “GO TO JAIL” VIP Beer Garden with hosted Shock Top, DJ, photo booth, snacks, picnic tables, games and more. Attendees are encouraged to dress in “Monopoly”-inspired or patriotic attire. Those who check off all of the locations on the board and turn it in at the official after party at Pink Elephant will be entered to win a “Taste of Main Street” prize package with gift certificates to participating locations.

VIP also includes access to the “Go To Jail” VIP Lounge sponsored by Shock Top with DJ, food from select local restaurants, picnic tables, games, photo booth and more.
