Beaverton Foods is smokin’ up the gourmet condiments aisle

Beaverton Foods, Inc., the manufacturer of the leading specialty branded mustard in the U.S.*, expands its Inglehoffer® and Beaver® product lines with two new smoked bacon mustards.  The new products join more than 150 specialty mustards, horseradishes and sauces produced by the company

The new mustards are a first for the 82-year-old specialty condiments manufacturer to add smoky goodness to its products.  The new 12 oz. Beaver Hickory Bacon Mustard brings a little Southern flavor to the brand with rich hickory and subtle bacon goodness.  Inglehoffer Applewood Smoked Bacon Mustard, 10 oz., blends Beaverton Foods’ award-winning Honey Mustard with Maple and smoked bacon.  The mustards range in price from $3.89-$4.49 and both are sold in a convenient, easy-to-use squeeze bottle.

Domonic Biggi, CEO of Beaverton Foods, said he is a big fan of the bacon and smoke flavors in the new Inglehoffer and Beaver mustards.

“We constantly strive to innovate and we see bacon and wood smoke as popular flavor profiles right now,” Biggi said.  “I believe our customers will enjoy the new mustards, which offer uses well beyond sandwich spreads.”

Another example of the company’s innovations in the gourmet condiments aisle is with the squeeze bottles.  The bottles were introduced by the Beaver and Inglehoffer product lines a few years ago.  Since the introduction, Biggi said annual sales for those brands have increased by about 10 percent.

Beaverton Foods is the largest producer of non-refrigerated horseradish and award-winning specialty mustards in the US and it is the only manufacturer of authentic wasabi products in North America.  The company also offers a wide variety of best-selling gourmet sauces, garlic, spices, and other unique specialty condiments packaged under these labels: Beaver, Inglehoffer, Napa Valley, Tulelake and Pacific Farms.  In addition to its own brands, the company develops, produces and co-packs a broad range of products for companies in the country and abroad.
