Chef Corrie—The Lynn Project: Harrisburg, PA

Chef Corrie is the founder of The Lynn Project, a non profit community food pantry whose purpose is to bridge the hunger gap in the community and service the food insecure. This is her dearest project because it was birthed after the passing of her father and named after something they have in common, their middle name—Lynn.

Chef Corrie also manages the soup kitchen at Downtown Daily Bread, which is open 365/24-7 and serves the homeless and low income population in the city of Harrisburg, PA. She had her start at The Bedford Springs Resort and Spa and The Hotel Hershey; where she continued her culinary training, specialized in fine dining, and catered to celebrity guests from all over the world. Being a teen mother at that time, she was inspired and determined to make a difference in the culinary industry.  She has recently launched “Cooking with Corrie”, a virtual program and cooking class for families and individuals seeking to cook like a professional in the comfort of their own home.

Chef Corrie is also the winner of The Central PA Chopped Competition and 2020 Hunger Hero Award recipient for her works in feeding the community over 45,000 meals during the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

She can be found as she loves to say, “Feeding the People.”
