Communal Dining Lands At Honey Salt With The New Bi-Monthly “Farm Table” Dinner SeriesThis March, Summerlin’s favorite dining spot, Honey Salt, celebrates the gathering of friends and community with the new dinner series ‘Farm Table.’ Taking place two Mondays a month beginning March 17, 2014, ‘Farm Table’ is named for the restaurant’s hand built communal tables and is inspired by the nostalgic ideal of gathering with friends, family and neighbors after a hard day’s work.

Featuring a changing menu of seasonally inspired American comfort food, ‘Farm Table’ dinners are served family style and showcase unique wine and beer pairings. The goal is to extend into the farming community and feature as much locally sourced produce as possible. The culinary team is working alongside farms including Prime Time Farms, Prime Color Farms and Grow Smart Gardens, among others, to bring the freshest ingredients to the table.

The ‘Farm Table’ dinner is $45 per person; an optional beverage pairing is available for an additional $25 (tax and gratuity not included). MARCH 17 FARM TABLE DINNER MENU: A celebratory Irish feast!

  • First Course: Vegetable Crudités; seasonal selection of vegetables; eggplant, pepper and cheese spreads; Dirty Vegan Juice. Farmer Patrick’s Salad; spinach, pine nuts, dried cherries, six month aged manchego, cider vinaigrette.
  • Main Course (Family Style): Irish Rose Soda Bread; honey butter. Ale Braised Lamb Shanks; roasted parsnip and rutabaga, savory brown butter. Cabbage Wrapped Corned Beef Purse; caraway, cabbage, grain mustard sauce. Colcannon; gratin of mashed potatoes, leeks, carrots.
  • Dessert: Rice Pudding and Shamrock Cookies
  • Beer pairing will showcase Lost Coast Brewery from Northern Calif.
