CONSTELLATION CULINARY GROUP TAPPED TO SPEARHEAD FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATIONS AT ADRIENNE ARSHT CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY

Constellation Culinary Group announces today the expansion of its South Florida portfolio after being tapped to lead all food and beverage operations for the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. As the Arsht Center celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, Constellation Culinary Group will incorporate elevated dining experiences into the existing culinary offerings including concessions, in-house bars and catering for all special and private events including weddings, corporate gatherings, galas and more.  In addition, Constellation Culinary Group will manage food and beverage operations for the Arsht Center’s pre-performance restaurant BRAVA!, which will reopen on the second floor this winter in conjunction with the opening night of “The Nutcracker”.

The Arsht Center has been recognized as a catalyst for billions of dollars in new development in the downtown area, a leader in programming that mirrors South Florida’s diversity, a host venue for historic events and Miami’s hub for arts education.  Just as the Arsht Center focuses on connecting all people to the arts stage with year-round programming featuring artists from around the world, the partnership with Constellation Culinary Group will equally focus on connecting all people to the food, further strengthening the visitor experience.

Some of the exciting new updates include a new grab & go line called Accent by Constellation that will be exclusive to the Arsht Center and feature thoughtful, seasonal fare available pre-performance and at intermission bars or pre-ordered via QR code for events on the plaza.  Menu highlights include a Charcuterie Box featuring prosciutto, salami, French olives, mixed nuts, honey and mini toasts, a Caprese Montadito with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and basil pesto on a homemade baguette, a Mediterranean Farro Bowl with heirloom grape tomatoes, cucumber, French olives, feta cheese, pickled onion, parsley and mint topped with a flavorful lemon vinaigrette. Other savory bites include a Hummus Box with spiced garbanzo beans, Dukkah, heirloom tomatoes, French olives and crackers and a Brown Butter Sweet Potato Pot with tahini, labneh, dried cherries and brown butter topped with sesame seeds.

The in-house bars will now serve a selection of craft beers and reasonably priced, world-class wines curated by a sommelier.  The revamped wine list boasts a broad portfolio of vintages from across the globe and price points that appeal to all audiences.

“The foodie movement has caught up to the performing arts stages which now place a priority on the integration of premium food, drink and dining experiences for their audiences,” said Adelee Cabrera, Constellation Culinary Group’s Vice President of Operations. “We are excited to redefine the guest experience at Arsht Center by bringing Constellation Culinary Group’s love of art and culture from center stage to the plate and palette.”

Conceptualizing new menus and culinary offerings for the Arsht Center is Chef Devon Pierre who spent the last 20 years working his way through the culinary ranks by managing restaurants and executing innovative restaurant concepts.

Joining Chef Devon at BRAVA! restaurant is an exciting, new Chef-in-Residence program where talented local chefs will pop in to showcase their extraordinary talent further ensuring a culinary adventure and exploration for guests looking to enjoy dinner and a show.

Nicole Resnick will serve as General Manager of BRAVA! and the Arsht Center’s onsite bar and food/catering programs. As a self-described “jack of all trades” and seasoned professional, Nicole has not only worked her way up within Constellation, but she has also held positions at other companies in group operations, marketing, human resources and accounting.

The collaboration expands Constellation Culinary Group’s stature at the helm of catering in Downtown Miami’s cultural hub. The group currently leads all catering, event and restaurant operations for Verde at Pérez Art Museum Miami, Food@Science at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, and SGWS Wynwood, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits’ multi-purpose hospitality and education center, all located in the city’s cultural district. In addition, Constellation Culinary Group operates signature restaurants at other cultural institutions across Florida, including The Restaurant at the Norton Museum of Art in Palm Beach and Bistro at the Sarasota Art Museum.

The Arsht Center occupies 570,000 sq. ft. along historic Biscayne Boulevard between N.E. 13th and 14th Streets and hosts more than 300 events each year. Multi-purpose spaces can accommodate up to 2,400 people with state-of-the-art theaters, beautiful outdoor plazas, elegant private salons and artistically designed lobbies, rooms and theaters.

About The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts

Set in the heart of downtown Miami, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County is committed to welcoming and connecting ALL people to the arts, to the Arsht Center and to each other. Our stages are alive year-round with artists from around the world, innovative programming from our resident companies and local arts partners, free community events that reflect Miami’s unique identity and arts education experiences for thousands of Miami children each year.

Since opening in 2006, the Arsht Center, a 501C3 non-profit organization, has been recognized as a catalyst for billions of dollars in new development in the downtown area, a leader in programming that mirrors South Florida’s diversity, a host venue for historic events and Miami’s hub for arts education.

Each year, we serve more than 60,000 young learners and offer more than 100 culturally diverse and inclusive education programs — many enhanced by the Arsht Center’s relationship with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, local teaching artists and Miami-based arts organizations.

The Arsht Center is also a home stage for three resident companies — Florida Grand Opera, Miami City Ballet and New World Symphony — and a launch pad for local artists to make their mark on the international stage. Our 300+ events each year include the Center’s Signature Series of classical, jazz, Broadway, local theater and much more. We present a robust series of touring Broadway musicals direct from New York, the largest jazz series in South Florida, a major annual Flamenco Festival and an award-winning Miami-based theater program. In addition, our Family Fest, Free Gospel Sundays, CommuniTEA LGBTQ+ celebration and Heritage Fest are among dozens of free events that bring together people from all corners of our community.
