Located in Washington State, Coyote Canyon Winery will bring its quality wine pairing to Tuscany Gardens at Tuscany Suites and Casino on Saturday, Jan. 28.

History, travel, delectable wines, and Italian cuisine combine to create its first five-course prix fixe wine-paired dinner of 2023. The menu includes

Amuse-bouche of Beet and Goat Cheese made with pickled baby beets, herbed goat cheese, toasted baguette, and candied kumquat. The next course is a Sacchettoni Wedding Soup with housemade sacchettoni dumplings filled with pork, cheese, herbs, baby spinach, and chicken broth. The White Fish Crudo, delicate white fish topped with lemon oil, house-pickled Fresno peppers, preserved lemon, crispy shallots, and herbs, will pair nicely with the wine.

The main entrée offers two choices. One is the Herb Pork Loin and Mushrooms, a pork tenderloin crusted with fresh herbs and a chef’s selection of mushrooms with a demi-glace. The other is Short Rib and Creamy Polenta, a braised short rib served with creamy leek polenta, beef jus, and crispy leek strings. Dessert will delight with Lemon Olive Oil Cake, including Meyer lemon curd and topped with whipped crème fraiche.

What started as a dry plot of land has grown to over 1,100 acres of quality wine grapes at Coyote Canyon Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills of Eastern Washington’s Columbia Basin.

In 1994, a 20-acre plot of Cabernet Sauvignon grape vines was planted along a gentle southern slope in the middle of the family property. The vineyard grew slowly, and in 2006, Jeff Andrews joined his father, Mike Andrews, in the family business, bringing him business and legal experience. Since then, the vineyard has doubled in size, expanding to over 1,100 acres of the best grape-growing acres in the Horse Heaven Hills, producing over 25 internationally awarded wines. In 2006, Mike started Coyote Canyon Winery, and in 2009 HH Estates Reserve Estate Wines were created as a tribute to the Andrews family history, the Horse Heaven Hills terroir, and the award-winning fruit and wines produced.

The award-winning Tuscany Gardens brings homemade Italian dishes, including premium steaks, savory entrées like seafood and veal, and favorite Italian classics and pasta complemented by the chef’s famous sauces. Guests can then indulge in one of its made-from-scratch desserts.
