Discover the ultimate dining escapade at Nami, the latest jewel from Tavistock Restaurant Collection, located in the heart of Lake Nona. Nami is thrilled to announce the launch of its Chef’s Counter at Nami, an intimate culinary experience directed by Chef Freddy Money, who also leads the kitchen at Tavistock’s Michelin-starred concept, Atlas Restaurant, in Atlanta. In addition to Chef Freddy, on any given night Chef’s Counter may be directed by Nami Chef de Cuisine, Jason Beliveau formerly of New York’s 3 Michelin Star Per Se and Los Angeles’ Girl and The Goat. The Chef’s Counter in every form will impress.

Set within the contemporary and art-forward Lake Nona Wave Hotel, Nami is the embodiment of a modern Japanese dining concept, infused with European elegance and creativity. For $225 per person, guests are invited to indulge in a night of culinary excellence with a meticulously-crafted, 20-bite tasting menu. With a limit of 10-guests per night – available Thursday through Saturday – the Chef’s Counter at Nami begins with a welcome toast at 7:00 p.m. followed promptly by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Times are subject to change. Reservations are essential to secure a spot at this coveted dining event.

“We’re excited to officially introduce the Chef’s Counter at Nami,” says Chef Freddy. “This is an opportunity for our guests to explore beyond the Nami menu and taste dishes that reflect the culinary inspiration found throughout all of our kitchens. Guests can expect dishes inspired by our Michelin-starred Atlas, to inspirations that stretch the globe and embrace recent collaborations like the one we just completed in Singapore at 2 Michelin Star JAAN By Kirk Westaway.”

Twenty exquisite bites are thoughtfully coursed in four distinct waves. Straight off the lineup is a multi-sensory palate opener of “Snax.” While dishes are subject to change upon seasonality, availability and inspiration, guests can expect dishes like a Crispy Chicken, Snow Beef Tartare and Ikura Rye. Ushered into the next wave, additional bites offer a great balance of flavor and fun with a Caviar Corn Dog, Avocado and Crab Salad, and Beet Maki with ginger and uni. The meal makes a natural progression to “Hot” items like Scallop with Soy Butter, and Wagyu with pickles and assorted condiments and concludes with a trio of “Sweets” with flavors like Kombucha and honey, and a whimsical Jewel Box. Guests can elevate their experience with optional wine pairings.

Nami is discreetly set within the west side of the contemporary and art-forward Lake Nona Wave Hotel, a space that provides a luxury lifestyle stay powered by thoughtful technology. The transformative design of Nami features an elegant 67-seat dining room, a 10-seat Chef’s Counter and sizable cocktail bar, all embraced by an ocean-inspired wood-slat ceiling, and nature-calling Japanese maple trees. As the evening unfolds in both the dining room and the Chef’s Counter, Nami provides a smooth blend of gourmet dining, refined mixology, and late-night choices, all elevated by the presence of in-house DJ vibes.
