Local NYC Marketplace Expands Offerings & Availability to Keep Revenue Flowing While Giving Back to Community

Butterfield Market, a third-generation family-owned and -operated market that’s been a NYC staple for over 100 years is not only staying open to keep up with the high demand, but they are also going above and beyond to cater to New Yorkers during this difficult time.

Butterfield is currently offering over 850 items with same day delivery through their online marketplace, which includes prepared foods, produce, dairy and specialty goods.

Butterfield has created additional revenue streams since the crisis began impacting NYC. As of last week, Butterfield’s is delivering “Essential Food Packages” of freshly prepared foods, fresh produce, grocery items and other tasty treats to customers across the Upper East Side and Upper West Side. The care packages range from options including The Essential Care Package, which is a two-day supply of breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert options as well as fresh fruit and baked goods for two. There is also the Family Care Package, which includes kid-friendly options and can feed a family of four.

Just today, Butterfield Market also announced that their famous frozen yogurt will now be available for delivery and pick-up.

Butterfield’s has a phone line open for any individual who does not feel comfortable with placing an online order and would rather speak directly to a Butterfield’s employee to put together their grocery order and facilitate same-day delivery.

During this time of uncertainty, Butterfield Market is also giving back. For each care package box purchased, Butterfield’s will be making a donation to local organizations within the community. For example, they’re making special daily food deliveries and providing extra meals to the nurses and doctors at our local hospitals who are heroically working long shifts to help fellow New Yorkers.
