Agricola Opens in Princeton

Planting the Seeds of A Community EateryAgricola opens its doors at 11 Witherspoon Street in Princeton to greet the first hints of Spring. The menu at Agricola is seasonal, local and flavorful. Chef Josh Thomsen,New Jersey native,StarChefs Rising Star and French Laundry alumnus says, “Because Agricola’s food is simple and straightforward, every ingredient must be the best of its kind; much of our menu comes from our own Great Road Farm. Perfectly pristine ingredients, combined sensibly and cooked properly, are the reason Agricola’s food tastes so good.”

The renovation of Agricola’s landmark Princeton space by Vincent Celano of Seed Design mirrors the welcoming Community Eatery philosophy: an “Exhibition Kitchen” can be seen from the street; a communal “Kitchen Table” is adjacent to the open kitchen.

Jim Nawn, restaurateur and partner, also owns Great Road Farm in Skillman NJ, just 4 miles away. Managed by Farmer Steve Tomlinson, the farm is the primary source of Agricola’s produce and daily, fresh eggs.
