The Roker Burger ($7.49) is a 100% all-natural Angus burger topped with Niman Ranch BBQ pulled pork, double American cheese, red-eye mayo and pickles. “Creating a burger with the folks at Shake Shack is exciting,” said Al Roker, TODAY. “Creating a burger that helps childhood hunger is inspiring.”

“Working with Al to create a quintessential southern barbecue burger was such a blast, and we think our fans are going to love it,” said Mark Rosati, Culinary Director of Shake Shack. “Even better, this burger will support the incredible work of our friends at No Kid Hungry.”

The Roker Burger launch is part of the new series, “TODAY’s ORIGINALS,” wherein TODAY anchors create and market products throughout the fall with proceeds being contributed to charitable causes.

Al Roker has been the weather and feature anchor on NBC’s TODAY since January 1996. In May 2002, “Al Roker’s Big Bad Book of Barbecue” was published and quickly became a summer blockbuster hit. His second cookbook, “Al Roker’s Hassle Free Holiday Cookbook,” became a huge success as it prepared America’s budding chefs for the holidays.
