The ghosts of Halloween are serving special cocktails for guests of JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa to enjoy in October or for anyone to stir up at home. Enjoy the spooky, but delicious, spirits of Halloween by sipping on the Ghostini Cocktail or feeding your pumpkin spice craving with the Pumpkin Spice Martini, both available at Crooked Branch, the central bar on the lower level at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa that offers specialty cocktails and whiskeys. The cocktails will be available at Crooked Branch through October 31.
The Ghostini Cocktail features vanilla vodka, white chocolate liquor, Frangelico, and whip cream, all the delicious tastes of the Halloween season!
For those that are too spooked to leave the house but want to try the yummy concoction, the ghosts at Crooked Branch have shared their scarily delicious recipe:
Ghostini Ingredients:
- 1 oz vanilla vodka
- 1 oz white chocolate liquor
- ½ oz Frangelico
- Whip cream
Mix all together, pour and enjoy!
To indulge in fall pumpkin flavors, Crooked Branch at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa has carved up a Pumpkin Spice Martini for guests of the resort to enjoy. But don’t fret, the bartenders have shared the recipe for the Pumpkin Spice Martini as well for anyone to enjoy at home.
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce crème de cacao
- 1 ounce half and half
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 ounce Absolut vanilla vodka
- Sugar to rim glass
- Dollop whip cream
- Graham crackers
Preparation:
Combine crème de cacao, half and half, and pumpkin spice. Mix with chilled vodka. Pour into sugar-rimmed martini glass. Top with whipped cream and garnish with graham cracker pieces.
In October, the resort will also display Halloween decorations and activities all month long including a spooky setting with Halloween animatronics and themed decor, a spider scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating, cookie decorating and more.
