Starborough Wine Deploys Two Limestone Reefs in Gulf of Mexico During National Oceans Month

Who: Starborough Sauvignon Blanc and Reefmaker

What: On Tuesday, June 21st, E & J Gallo Winery Starborough Sauvignon Blanc deployed two limestone coral reefs off the coast of Fort Walton Beach, Florida for World Oceans Month. Starborough partnered with Reefmaker, the largest reef builder in the U.S., to create and release the reefs to help provide a safe habitat for all forms of marine life. As part of the brand’s continued efforts to support ocean conservation, Starborough dedicated all social media communication during June to educating consumers on the importance of coral reefs and asked them to take action by liking, sharing, and commenting on content. After hitting 100,000 actions, Starborough pledged to release another limestone reef.
