Two New Hotels + DC + Irish Owned + Simoneink

They say good things come in threes, and it is with great excitement that simoneink announces the addition of both its second and third Washington, D.C. properties to its exclusive portfolio of boutique hotels: The Dupont Circle Hotel and The Normandy Hotel.

Both properties are members of the prestigious Doyle Collection, which boasts 11 boutique hotels sprinkled throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The Dupont Circle Hotel, a sleek, smart, and contemporary property that has just emerged from a $52 million renovation, and named one of Fodor’s 100 in 2011, and The Normandy Hotel, a well-kept secret among lovers of boutique European style hotels [also recently renovated,] are setting a new standard in Washington, D.C. for a vibrant, energetic, and urbane guest experience.

Cuisine at The Dupont Circle Hotel is French in feeling, serving iconic Gallic dishes balanced by playfully unorthodox versions of Parisian fare. Executive chef Silvan Kramer may be European born, but his menu also reflects his obsession with American ingredients and flavors, with a particular devotion to regional organic produce.  Silvan often looks to his backyard at the Dupont Circle Farmer’s Market for basket-to-plate produce.

Founded by Paschal Vincent Doyle in 1964 with the opening of The Montrose in Dublin, The Doyle Collection endeavors to surprise and delight guests at every opportunity. Doyle Collection properties have been handpicked for their quality of location as well as their uniqueness of character, and the Dupont Circle and Normandy Hotels are no exception.

Simoneink’s hotel clients excel at providing distinct guest experiences that provide a sophisticated yet authentic sense of their given city.  These two hotels capture the energy and excitement of the nation’s capital with a subtle nod to the European design and character of Washington, DC.
