M Hospitality and Engine 15 Brewing Co. Debut Special Edition Top Crop Ale

Featuring a unique collaboration between Chefs Matthew and David Medure and the Jacksonville-based brew masters, Top Crop Ale is a limited edition autumn ale infused with butternut squash and spices

M Hospitality and Engine 15 Brewing Co. together announce the availability of a limited edition craft brew ‘Top Crop Ale’ inspired by the southern fall flavor of butternut squash and spices. Featuring a farm-to-brewery-to-table concept, Top Crop Ale is the culmination of M Hospitality chefs and founders Matthew and David Medure working directly with the brewer to craft and perfect an original ale recipe from start to finish. Top Crop Ale is slated to make its debut on Thanksgiving Day perfectly timed with the new M Shack Town Center opening, and will also join the specialty beer selection at Restaurant Medure and Matthew’s Restaurant.

“Over the past few months, we’ve experimented with a fresh concept and brewing process to handcraft Top Crop Ale,” said Matthew Medure, co-owner of M Hospitality. “Generally a brewer will create an ale recipe and then provide it to the chef for food pairings. With Top Crop, David and I have had the opportunity to be a direct part of the brewing process actually contributing to the product that is going into the bottle and then blending it with foods afterwards. It’s been an amazing experience to work alongside the expert brewers at Engine 15, and together we’ve produced a tasty autumn ale – just in time to enjoy for the Thanksgiving holiday.”

Inspired by Florida’s designation as the number one producer of USA grown butternut squash, Top Crop Ale is a refreshing combination of the sweet, rich flavors of the squash and a secret blend of spices. Top Crop Ale offers a light, appealing flavor anchored by spices that evoke the autumn season and will appeal to a wide range of palettes from beer aficionados to casual imbibers.
