“Due to the dedication of our team members to RPM Advertising’s client-partners businesses everyone misses a lot of happy hours and the ‘Sloterator’ helps make up for that it in a super fun way,” said Platcow.
On the show that began airing on March 4, 2014, 9 p.m. CST on the History Channel, Platcow and Malin met with show host Rick Dale of Rick’s Restorations in Las Vegas to present him the challenge. Rick’s wife Kelly Dale managed the project. She met with a slot machine technician to work out the technical issues involved with the conversion to ensure that the functionality of the device remains intact throughout the restoration. The finished project was a beer-dispensing Sloterator with customer beer related theming, plus a few extra bells and whistles.
