Testarossa Winery Selected To Be Featured At Pebble Beach Food & Wine Show

Testarossa’s 2012 Garys’ Vineyard Pinot Noir will be paired with an entrée selection by acclaimed Chef Thomas Lents of Sixteen Restaurant at Chicago’s Trump International Tower

TR Entrance 4Testarossa Winery, producers of premier California Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, announced today their selection for the Pebble Beach Food and Wine Show Hunter-Gatherer dinner Friday April 11, 2014. Star Chicago Chef Thomas Lent, of Sixteen Restaurant in the Trump International Tower selected Testarossa’s 2012 Garys’ Vineyard Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands to pair with his signature dish. The event entitled Hunter-Gatherer: New Rules for Exemplary Dining is a farm to table dinner focusing on the rich bounty of the Monterey Peninsula.

“Pebble Beach Food and Wine has quickly risen to be THE Premier Food and Wine event in the country. For one of Testarossa’s Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noirs to be selected for the very prestigious Friday night dinner is an amazing honor for our Los Gatos Winery. We are very excited to see how Chef Thomas pairs his cuisine with our Pinot Noir,” said Rob Jensen, founder and proprietor of Testarossa Winery.

Chef Lents’ impressive career includes positions at numerous Michelin two and three star rated restaurants such as Joel Robuchon, Quince, and Everest, as well as serving time in kitchens in Europe earlier in his career.
