BAAR BAAR LOS ANGELES BRINGS ON PARAMJEET SINGH BOMBRA TO SERVE AS NEW HEAD CHEF

Baar Baar Los Angeles, the acclaimed restaurant from MICHELIN-starred Chef Sujan Sarkar, is pleased to announce that Chef Paramjeet Singh Bombra has joined the restaurant to serve as its new Head Chef. With nearly 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Bombra brings a wealth of talent to the team, having previously worked at renowned establishments such as the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Andaman, Sheraton Grand at Brigade Gateway Bangalore, and most recently, Baar Baar New York.

 

Chef Bombra is an internationally celebrated, award-winning culinary talent renowned for his mastery in traditional Indian cuisine. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the Indian Federation of Culinary Association Badge, the Bravo Certificate for Indian Food Promotion from Radisson Hotel Blu Cebu, and the Gold Medal in Asian Live Cooking from the South Indian Culinary Challenge among others. At Baar Baar Los Angeles, Chef Bombra will work closely with Chef Sarkar to introduce new dishes blending seasonal California ingredients with traditional Indian flavours.

 

Chef Bombra also played a pivotal role as the Head Chef of Barr Baar New York for last six years, earning a reputation in the industry for his expertise in re-creating regional Indian dishes with a modern twist. At Baar Baar Los Angeles, he brings a heartfelt culinary philosophy—cooking not just with skill, but with soul.

 

“My goal is to bring flavors from different regions of India to California,” says Chef Bombra.”I think LA is ready for bold Indian flavors with modern twists. I want to contribute my knowledge of traditional Indian cooking and unique flavor combinations to the existing Baar Baar menu. ”

 

Diners can expect a new summer menu with varieties of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian kebabs, with light and flavorful appetizers showcasing pristine California produce.

 

Baar Baar LA is located at 705 W 9th Street in Los Angeles California.
