PHILADELPHIA — GuestCounts Hospitality, the company behind Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar, Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar, and Bomba ¡Tacos + Tequila!, has raised $25,130.16 for CORE (Children of Restaurant Employees), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting food and beverage workers and their families during personal crises.
The fundraiser, held throughout June across all GuestCounts restaurant locations, served as a precursor to CORE’s nationwide “Serving Up Hope” campaign, which officially kicks off on September 1st and runs through October 31st.
How the Funds Were Raised
Guests contributed through:
- Donations of any amount
- A $5 “Shot of Hope“
- A $10 gift card available for $5, with all proceeds going to CORE
With 100% of funds donated directly, GuestCounts’ campaign shows how impactful community-driven initiatives can be.
