Nestled in the southwest community in Las Vegas by the development of Mountains Edge, Locale Italian Kitchen + Craft Cocktails serves cuisine inspired by the culinary traditions of Italy. A mix of red sauce Italian and traditional Cucina transports guests using the best ingredients sourced from small American farms and select items from Italy. Its pasta is prepared daily along with specials ranging from local produce to large format, dry-aged steaks. A full menu is available along with three specials designed to delight the palate in an enjoyable dining experience.
SUMMER 3 COURSE PREFIX
Labor Day has passed, but the fall season does not officially begin until Sept. 22. Embrace the last days of summer and enjoy a three-course Summer prix fixe menu for only $50 per person, with a Wine Pairing available for an additional $25. Featuring Locale favorites, for the first course, choose from a Caesar Salad with chopped romaine and housemade garlic croutons, oven-baked garlic and mozzarella bread served with house-made Pomodoro sauce, Burrata Caprese with basil pesto, cherry tomatoes, and crostini or mussels al Forno with white wine, tomato, and garlic sauce. Wines to be paired include NV Avissi Prosecco and Broadbent Vinho Verde from Portugal.
The second course offers a selection of either Brick Oven Gnocchi with housemade gnocchi, ricotta, and braised short rib, Salmon Puttanesca served with sautéed spinach, garlic, and tomatoes, or a 36-ounce Tomahawk Ribeye cooked to perfection for a supplemental charge. Select 2019 Nielson Chardonnay from California or 2019 G.D. Vajra Nebbiolo from Piedmont as the wine to pair. Sides bring Summer Corn Cacio e Pepe with cracked black pepper, Calabrian chili, and Parmigiano; Smashed Fried Potatoes made with fingerling potatoes and fried herbs or Sautéed Broccolini seasoned with garlic, chili flakes, and olive oil.
The third course will satisfy a sweet tooth with choices of Tiramisu or Brulée Cheesecake paired with NV Campagnola Cantico Moscato from Piedmont or housemade Locale Cello.
Sunday Brunch, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., features bottomless Mimosas, Rosé, and Bellini for $25 and signature brunch items. Brunch items include Avocado Toast, Short Rib Benedict, and Pancetta Omelette. Antipasti offer Arugula Salad, Mary’s Meatballs, and Fritto with calamari, shrimp, bay scallops, zucchini, green beans, and shishito peppers. Indulge in pasta, including Pappardelle with jumbo shrimp, blue crab, spinach, and tomatoes served in a white clam sauce. For hearty appetites, pan-seared salmon, chicken parmigiana, or a center-cut New York Strip steak will satisfy. Breakfast pizza with eggs, bacon, mozzarella, and red onion is one choice with other pizzas.
TOMAHAWK FOR TWO TUESDAYS
Every Tuesday, from 5 to 9 p.m., Enjoy a three-course menu including a 36-ounce Dry Aged Tomahawk Ribeye for only $129.
The first course is a choice of oven-baked garlic and mozzarella bread served with house-made Pomodoro sauce, Locale Caesar salad with chopped romaine and housemade garlic croutons, Burrata Caprese with basil pesto, cherry tomatoes, and crostini, or arugula salad with candied pistachio, lemon honey vinaigrette, and Parmigiano. Next, the 36-ounce dry-aged Tomahawk Ribeye, cooked to perfection, is served with house steak sauce and a choice of two sides, including Polenta, Smashed Fried Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, or Broccolini. Top off the meal with Tiramisu or Brulée Cheesecake.
