Miami, FL – November 4, 2025 – The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort proudly announces the appointment of Luis Garcia as its new Director of Food & Beverage. In this pivotal role, Garcia will lead the resort’s renowned culinary operations, overseeing BH Prime, Atlantikós, La Gourmandise, and The St. Regis Bar, as well as all events, banquets, and in-room dining. His appointment reinforces the resort’s continued commitment to excellence, innovation, and refined service synonymous with the St. Regis brand.

A seasoned hospitality professional with over 30 years of industry experience, Garcia joins The St. Regis Bal Harbour from SLS South Beach, where he served as Executive Director of Food & Beverage. There, he oversaw eight celebrated venues, including The Bazaar by José Andrés and Katsuya, achieving double-digit profitability growth and top TripAdvisor rankings among Miami Beach’s premier fine dining destinations.

Throughout his illustrious career, Garcia has worked alongside Michelin-starred chefs and world-class culinary brands, leading high-profile events such as Taste of SLS and the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. His strategic approach to blending operational excellence with creative flair has earned him industry recognition as a leader who inspires teams and elevates the guest experience.

Garcia is a graduate of The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, with additional studies in Business Administration at Miami Dade College. He also completed the Accor Hotel GM Training Course and Cornell University’s Executive Leadership Program. Outside the kitchen, he’s a passionate tennis player who enjoys exploring new culinary trends and spending time with family.
