SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (November 12, 2025) The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara announces the appointment of Roberto Riveros Leyton as its new Executive Chef. Situated on 78 acres of Pacific coastline, the award-winning resort continues to strengthen its culinary identity with this strategic leadership addition.

With more than 20 years of international experience and deep roots within The Ritz-Carlton brand, Chef Roberto will oversee all culinary operations, including the resort’s newly unveiled signature dining concept, Lulio, along with O’Bar & Terrace, Mission Market, and SunBar.

Chef Roberto most recently served as Multi-Property Executive Chef for The St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya and The Riviera Maya EDITION at Kanai. His career with The Ritz-Carlton, spanning from San Francisco to Hong Kong and Barcelona, includes earning three Michelin stars with his team demonstrating his dedication to artistry, technique, and excellence.
