Chef Emmanuel Palmas Joins the Culinary Team
Cleveland, Ohio – August 6, 2025 – The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland proudly announces the appointment of Chef Emmanuel Palmas Lozada as Pastry Chef, adding nearly two decades of international culinary expertise to the hotel’s luxury dining team.
A Global Journey in Pastry Excellence
Born in Costa Rica and raised in Mexico, Chef Emmanuel’s passion for baking began with his grandmother’s home cooking. His career took him to Switzerland for formal training, followed by prestigious roles at:
- Four Seasons Miami
- Four Seasons Mexico City
- JW Marriott Cancun
- Lake Placid Lodge, New York
Most recently, he served as Assistant Pastry Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, where he elevated the dessert program while mentoring future chefs as a pastry arts instructor at UAEM in Mexico.
