The Gunter Hotel Debuts Full Menus at Jots and The Keystone Club in Downtown San Antonio
New dining concepts celebrate San Antonio’s culinary heritage with bold, locally inspired flavors
SAN ANTONIO, TX – October 27, 2025 — The historic Gunter Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, proudly announces that its signature restaurant, Jots, and the elegant Keystone Club are now serving full menus beginning Monday, October 27. Under the leadership of Director of Culinary Development Sarah Myles and Executive Chef Hayley Unruh, Jots brings a modern yet nostalgic interpretation of classic American cuisine inspired by regional ingredients and San Antonio’s multicultural heritage.
“The full menu at Jots tells a story—one that starts in 1909 San Antonio, the year the hotel was founded, and moves through generations of flavor, tradition, and technique,” said Sarah Myles. “From my father’s Cajun maque choux to Chef Hayley’s family gumbo, we’ve created dishes that reflect who we are and where we come from. The menu is bold, familiar, and entirely our own.”
A Taste of Tradition Reimagined
Jots, named after Jonathan “Jot” Gunter, the hotel’s original financier and namesake, is an homage to the mid-century supper club era. The newly launched full menu features a mix of timeless comfort and culinary creativity, offering complete breakfast and dinner service daily, with brunch coming soon.
Breakfast hours: 7:00 – 11:00 a.m. (Monday–Sunday)
Dinner hours: 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. (Monday–Sunday)

- Duck Confit Benedict
- French Dip Sandwich

- Quail Poppers
- Oysters Gunter-Style with pimento cheese, pecan-smoked bacon, and chives

The Keystone Club: Classic Cocktails, Modern Vibes
Nestled in the hotel’s grand lobby, The Keystone Club pairs art deco elegance with a modern cocktail sensibility. Guests can sip and unwind under glittering chandeliers surrounded by ornate details that reflect the Gunter’s century-old charm.

- Do Not Disturb – Hendrick’s gin, raspberry syrup
- San Antonio Amaro Sour – local bourbon, amaro
The bar also features curated wine and beer selections, alongside light bites such as the Classic Caesar Salad, Caprese Sandwich, and San Antonio Shrimp Cocktail.
