FREDERICKSBURG, Texas – October 23, 2025 – The forthcoming Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country and Waldorf Astoria Residences Texas Hill Country proudly announce an exclusive culinary partnership with world-renowned Chef Dominique Crenn, the visionary behind San Francisco’s three-Michelin-starred Atelier Crenn. Chef Crenn will conceptualize and lead the resort’s signature restaurant, blending artistry, sustainability, and storytelling into one of Texas’s most anticipated fine dining destinations.
Set to debut in 2027, Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country represents Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts’ first property in Texas — a landmark collaboration between Mark Harmon, Robert Radovan, and Tim Sparapani.

Chef Crenn’s upcoming concept at Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country will embody a chef-driven, ingredient-forward philosophy inspired by French technique and the terroir of Texas Hill Country.
Her culinary vision will blend locally sourced ingredients, premium seafood, and heritage meats, elevated through avant-garde techniques. The restaurant’s design — complete with private dining rooms, specialty bars, and terraces overlooking the Hill Country landscape — promises an immersive, multi-sensory experience.

Dominique Crenn is the first female chef in the U.S. to earn three Michelin stars, recognized globally for her poetic approach to cuisine. Her San Francisco-based Atelier Crenn recently ranked #46 on North America’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
Her acclaimed portfolio includes Bar Crenn, Petit Crenn, and Café Dior by Dominique Crenn in Dallas, with her upcoming Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn set to debut in Beverly Hills this fall.

Designing the Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country Experience
Created in collaboration with Studio CABAN, Paul Duesing Partners, FAB Studio, TIPLER Group, and The Abernathy Group, Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country will feature 60 hotel rooms, 37 resort villas, and 50 private residences.
The resort will include:
- Five distinct dining venues, anchored by Chef Crenn’s signature restaurant
- An 11,000-square-foot spa and fitness center
- Two resort-style pools and luxury gathering spaces
