10th Annual California Wine Month Takes Place Sept. 1-30, 2014

Dozens of Special Wine Events and Immersion Experiences Offered Statewide

10th Annual California Wine Month Takes Place Sept. 1-30, 2014California’s annual grape harvest is a time when a foodie’s fancy naturally turns to thoughts of wine. To launch the harvest season in September, wine regions and wineries across the Golden State are celebrating the 10th annual California Wine Month—organized by California’s Wine Institute.  From innovative wine immersion experiences to cool wine events, September is an ideal time to visit wine country, when the air is buzzing with the creative energy of California’s artisan winegrowers and winemakers bringing in the grapes and beginning the process of crafting the next great vintage.

California Wine Month in September celebrates one of our signature agricultural products and all that vintners and growers bring to the economy, culture and lifestyle of the Golden State.

September is also a great time to plan a visit to California Wine Country. Wineries and regions throughout the state will be marking the harvest and celebrating California Wine Month with special tastings, festivals, wine immersion experiences, tours, concerts and more. Be sure to check back often, as new events are added frequently.

From Sept. 1-30, 2014, dozens of wineries and wine regions across California will host these special consumer wine events and experiences, celebrating the contributions of the state’s growers and vintners, who are committed to earth- and people-friendly sustainable practices in vineyards and wineries.  For more information please visit their website. (Please note that events for 2014 will begin posting in July.)
