9th Annual Wild Women of Wine Country Luncheon for Susan G Komen-IE Slated for Tuesday, October 1, 2013Once again, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa has partnered with Susan G. Komen For The Cure – Inland Empire to create a very special day of celebration, dedicated to life, friendship and the pursuit of educating women and finding a cure for Breast Cancer. This year’s luncheon will feature keynote speaker Teresa Rhyne, author of NEW YORK TIMES #1 bestseller “The Dog Lived (and So Will I)- Memoir.” This inspirational woman is not only a best-selling author, she is also a breast cancer survivor, a powerful speaker, a rescuer of two special beagle dogs; and a lover of good wine, so we know her message will speak perfectly to that Wild Woman that reside in each of us. More than 300 ladies of wine country joined in the fun last year, and this year promises to be just as successful. At just $35 for the event, it’s the perfect excuse to slip away for some special Wild Women Time with friends and colleagues. This day includes a delicious Chef’s fine harvest luncheon, entertainment, live and silent auctions and, of course wear your pink shoes and enter the highly popular Pink Shoe Contest with great prizes.

Categories include:
•Sassy Stilettos & Pumps
•Fabulous Flats & Flipflops
•The Fuzzy Slipper
•Big Girl Boots

The event is slated for 10 AM to 2 PM; and with just four hours of time, attendees walk away with new friendships and personal discoveries, knowing that this good day away helps support Susan G. Komen For the Cure – IE and fund the community’s breast cancer resource centers that so lovingly serve uninsured and underinsured women and their families dealing with breast cancer.

With your help, this event will assist Susan G. Komen in providing much-needed grant moneys to organizations like Michelle’s Place, Quinn Community Outreach, Inland Agency, Breast Cancer Solutions, and so many others.
