Filippo Berti, Chief Executive Officer of Ali Group North America announced today the appointment of Rich Gleitsmann to the position of Chief Operating Officer of Ali Group North America, effective immediately.
Gleitsmann will be transitioning from his role as Executive Vice President. In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, Rich will be responsible for the day to day management throughout the Group companies within North America, namely: Aladdin Temp-Rite, ACP/Amana, Belshaw/Adamatic, Beverage-Air, Burlodge North America, Carpigiani U.S.A., the Champion Group including Champion – BiLine – Moffat – Moyer Diebel, CMA, Edlund, Electro Freeze, Eloma, Ice-O-Matic, Scotsman, Rancilio North America and Victory Refrigeration. Gleitsmann will work in close collaboration with Filippo Berti, Chief Executive Officer of Ali Group North America.
Filippo Berti will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer of Ali Group North America.
Mr. Gleitsmann has extensive experience in the commercial foodservice equipment industry. In addition to his roles as Executive Vice President at Ali Group North America and his Presidency at Scotsman Ice Systems, where he achieved exceptional results, his experience includes an 11-year tenure at ITW Corporation, where he most recently served as President of ITW Food Equipment Group as well as Hobart North America. Rich Gleitsmann holds a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley. Gleitsmann is a former Marine officer and decorated Vietnam veteran.
