BODEGA TAQUERIA Y TEQUILA ANNOUNCES CONTINUED NATIONAL EXPANSION WITH FIRST LOCATION IN WASHINGTON D.C., SET TO OPEN FALL 2024

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, South Florida’s iconic taqueria with a vibrant, high-energy nightlife scene is taking its celebrated concept to Washington, D.C., as the brand announces the opening of its first Northeast outpost located at 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, slated for Fall 2024 in the historic Foggy Bottom neighborhood. The move is the latest development in a strategic national expansion that also includes a recently opened location in Chicago, with additional spaces planned to open in other markets, including Nashville, as well as a second Chicago location in River North. The 3,831-square-foot D.C. outpost will showcase Bodega’s signature taqueria and speakeasy concept that fans of the brand have flocked to since it opened its flagship location in Miami Beach in 2014.

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila Expands to Washington D.C. in Fall 2024

Washington, D.C. is an ideal region to continue Bodega’s expansion from South Florida into the national market. Boasting an impressive roster of 24 Michelin-starred restaurants and a thriving residential population, the new D.C. location is surrounded by the likes of popular spots like Tatte Bakery & Café and the George Washington University bookstore, as well as nearby landmarks including the White House and the U.S. Department of State building. Situated in a prime location within the area, Bodega’s D.C. outpost will serve the historic neighborhood’s residential and fast-paced government scene and provide the unique Bodega nightlife experience to local university students.
