Casual Dining Brand Launches Five New Chicken Wing Flavors; Challenges Consumers to ‘Find Their Wingman’

Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar Springs for WingsJust in time for March Madness, Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston’s), a casual-plus dining concept that combines a family-friendly restaurant and separate sports bar under one roof, will begin offering guests a lineup of game-time munchies that will satisfy even the biggest appetites.

The main addition to Boston’s already extensive menu of fan favorites will be its new chicken wing flavors, which have been added in response to both the growing popularity of the chicken wing and a successful test run of the new flavors. Recent stats from the National Chicken Council show that Americans will consume a staggering 27 billion chicken wings in 2014 alone, so Boston’s is stepping up its game to help satisfy consumer’s intense craving for this meaty treat.

Starting March 10, Boston’s guests can excite their taste buds with five new wing options ranging from the savory Salt & Vinegar Dry Rub to the fiery Mango Habañero. Other new flavors include Teriyaki, Dry Rub Cajun and Jalapeño Molasses. Although the brand has offered chicken wings in the past, the company is now giving guests a choice as to how their wings are prepared—oven-roasted, fried, or hand-breaded boneless bites. Further adding to their deep roster of game-time favorites, Boston’s will also introduce the Pepperoni Stuffed Twist Bread, with their signature hand-pressed pizza dough stuffed with diced pepperoni, cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, served with a pomodoro dipping sauce and the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza, which is topped with cheddar cheese, Angus beef, bacon, red onions, fresh tomatoes and a new mustard-based burger sauce.

Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar Springs for Wings“The sports bar atmosphere and chicken wings fit together effortlessly, so in response to our guests’ fierce, game-day appetites, we are rolling out our five new flavor options,” said Troy Cooper, Chief Operating Officer of Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar. “By offering this extensive range of new choices, we hope to directly challenge some of the niche wing concepts out there and capture some of their crowd with our high-quality product.”

In addition to delicious new menu items, the spring wing campaign has many quirky, interactive elements that make it fun for guests to get involved. Throughout the campaign, the company will be looking for ‘America’s Ultimate Wingman’. During this time, consumers will have the chance to help Boston’s decide on a winner by voting for the new flavor they like the best by tweeting #{INSERT FAVORITE WING FLAVOR} and tagging @BostonsCorp on Twitter. When the campaign wraps up on May 19, Boston’s will tally the votes to determine what flavor is the ultimate wingman. Guests can follow the contest online at bostons.com.
