Celebrate Halloween Stranger Things Style at The Langham, Chicago’s Travelle

On the heels of Halloween, and worries of what to do to celebrate creep closer, it’s exciting to share some exciting news about The Langham, Chicago’s ‘Stranger Things’ takeover in collaboration with Moet Hennessy  at the hotel’s famed eatery, Travelle.

 

Celebrate Halloween Stranger Things style at The Langham

 

Running now until November 2nd, super-fans and guests alike can imbibe themed cocktails like “011 Waffle cocktail”, garnished with an Eggo of course, “D. Gorgan” with an identical Demogorgon bubbling at the surface, and “Milk Punch” equipped with Dungeons and Dragons dice all crafted with exceptionally luxurious whiskey, tequila and cognac.

 

The celebration leads up to October 29th, where Travelle will then undergo a spooky transformation to host a Stranger Things Halloween bash open to the public.

 

011 WAFFLE COCKTAIL

 

2 oz. X by Glenmorangie

.25 oz. Ardbeg Wee Beastie

.75 oz. Lemon Juice

.75 oz. Blis Maple Syrup

.50 oz. Orange Juice

2 Dash Angostura Bitters

Egg White

 

Garnish:  Cinnamon & Maple Sugar Powder + Mini Waffle

 

Glassware: Rocks Glass.  Over large rock.

2 oz. Volcan de mi Tierra X.A

.5 oz. Hibiscus Sorrel Cordial

2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

2 Dashes Angostura Orange. Bitters

Pearl Dust

 

Garnish: Fresh Hibiscus Flower (looks identical to Demogorgon)

 

Glassware: Rocks Glass.  Over large Rock

 

MILK PUNCH COCKTAIL

 

1 oz. Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège

1 oz. Blue Run Reflection Bourbon

2 oz. Honey Comb Milk Punch

 

Garnish: Served on lunch tray with red & white straw + Dungeons and Dragons Dice on tray.

 

Glassware: Glass House Glass
