India’s Regional Cuisine at Bindaas

Award-winning restaurateur Ashok Bajaj announces that Knightsbridge Restaurant Group’s beloved Indian street food concept Bindaas, led by James Beard Award-winning Group Executive Chef Vikram Sunderam, will highlight regional Indian menus this fall.

From September 1 through December 2025, Monday through Saturday evenings, guests can enjoy a three-course fixed-price dinner for $45 per person (exclusive of tax and service charge). Each month celebrates a different region of India with authentic dishes and desserts.

September – North India Flavors

  • Amuse: Golgappa / Bhel
  • Appetizers:
    • Murg Makki Tikki – Spiced chicken, corn, cheddar, mint chutney
    • Paneer Khurchan Tokri – Cottage cheese, peppers, chaat masala, potato basket
  • Entrées:
    • Shrimp Lababadar
    • Murg Makhani (Butter Chicken)
    • Lamb Roganjosh
    • Navratan Korma (vegetarian)
    • Served with naan & saffron rice
  • Desserts: Gulab Jamun, Gajar Halwa with Cardamom Ice Cream

October – South India Specialties

  • Amuse: Tomato Rasam & Beetroot Wada
  • Appetizers:
    • Meen Pollichattu – Seabass, tamarind, fennel, masala potatoes
    • Mini Idli Ghee Roast – Steamed dumplings, curry leaves, mustard seeds
  • Entrées:
    • Halibut Alleppey Curry
    • Kozhi Melagu (pepper chicken)
    • Hyderabadi Kacchi Gosht Biryani
    • Paneer Muttar Kurma (vegetarian)
    • Served with Malabari paratha & lemon rice
  • Desserts: Payasam, Watalappam, Jackfruit Ice Cream

November – East India Inspirations

  • Amuse: Phoolkopir Cutlet & Jhalmuri
  • Appetizers:
    • Kolkata Kathi Roll – Spiced chicken, paratha, mint chutney
    • Chenna Muttar Chop – Cottage cheese, green peas, mango kasundi
  • Entrées:
    • Chingri Malai Curry (shrimp in coconut milk)
    • Murg Rizala (chicken with coconut & kewra water)
    • Kosha Mangsho (lamb curry)
    • Bengali Vegetable Medley (vegetarian)
    • Served with Gobindobhog rice & Lucchi
  • Desserts: Payesh, Narkel Naru, Bhapa Sandesh

December – West India Celebration

  • Amuse: Dhokla & Khandvi
  • Appetizers:
    • Goan Chorizo Cutlet – Chicken chorizo, peri-peri aioli, straw potatoes
    • Sabudana Wada – Tapioca pearls, peanuts, coconut chutney
  • Entrées:
    • Shrimp Gassi
    • Chicken Cafreal
    • Lamb Vindaloo
    • Undhiyu (vegetarian)
    • Served with Ambamore rice & chapati
  • Desserts: Bebinca, Kela Halwa, Coconut Ice Cream
