Famed Miami Beach Restaurant Brings Sizzle to Puerto Rico

Meat Market Opens first Caribbean Outpost At El San Juan ResortEl San Juan Resort & Casino, A Hilton Hotel announces the opening of a sexy new restaurant, Meat Market Miami, with all the glamour and appeal of the Miami Beach original.  Introducing a new concept of steakhouse to San Juan, Meat Market Miami opened on Sept. 28, 2013, at the San Juan hotel, which has been one of the foremost hotspots and entertainment venues in Puerto Rico for 25 years.  The restaurant’s opening is a highlight of the resort’s “Where it Happens” campaign that features an array of exciting music, fashion, dining and entertainment offerings rolled out this year.
“El San Juan Resort & Casino is already a magnet for dining and non-stop entertainment,” said Olivier Maumaire, general manager.  “This inventive take on the steakhouse experience gives us yet another edge in offering delectable dining concepts to our guests as well as our local friends.  Meat Market Miami will combine the flair of San Juan with the style of Miami Beach, complementing the nine other restaurants offered at the resort.”

Under the supervision of acclaimed executive chefs Sean Brasel and David Burner, who both developed the concept, Meat Market Miami leaves the notion of traditional steakhouses behind with exceptional cuts of meat, delicate seafood and the freshest produce available in the market, all prepared with South Beach flair and served in a contemporary and stylish environment.  In addition to a sensual main dining room, the restaurant features a Crudo Bar serving fresh tiraditos (small plates) and the Chic Bar featuring unique, made-to-order cocktails by a master mixologist.
