Montclair Hospitality Group Expands with Multiple New Locations

MHG’s exclusive partnership with famed Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto includes a new restaurant that will anchor Fortress Development’s new InterContinental® Bellevue at the Avenue in Washington state. Slated to open in the fall, this new luxury sushi dining concept called MM by Morimoto is the first of several planned restaurants between the famed chef and MHG.

The hugely popular restaurant pastaRAMENa partnership between MHG and James Beard-nominated Chef Robbie Felice, has its own expansion plans on tap this year as well. The first-ever Italian ramen shop that perfectly marries Japanese and Italian cuisines in a style called “Wafu-Italian,” will have a home at the new InterContinental® Bellevue at the Avenue, followed by a new permanent location in Miami. Florida.

Also, in partnership between MHG and Chef Felice is a new Italian sandwich concept called Fatto Con Amore coming to 349 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey in October 2023. The Italian Sandwich Shop and Market, which will be the embodiment of its translation: “made with love,” will offer the traditional vibes of the kind of salumeria (delicatessen) that Chef Felice dreamt of opening since he was a child. Sandwiches will be made with a passion for quality starting with the ingredients of its freshly baked breads from the finest local bakeries and imported meats, to its artisanal cheeses, vinegars, and olive oils from Italy.

Rounding out MHG’s slate of fall 2023 openings is a new Ani Ramen location in Hoboken, NJ at 99 Washington Street. The popular and critically acclaimed Japanese ramen restaurant is known for their signature Japanese ramen made with custom-made noodles from Sun Noodle as well as other Japanese Izakaya items. They currently have locations throughout New Jersey and New York including Montclair, Jersey City, Harborside, Summit, Maplewood and Cranford with Brookfield Place in Manhattan and Larchmont.
