MTO Café Announces Next Pop Up Dinner in the Sunday Night Supper SeriesOlé! After a successful first dinner to a sold out restaurant, MTO Café is excited to present the second pop up in the Sunday Night Supper Series, “El Chapo’s Cantina”. The breakfast, lunch and brunch eatery will host the Mexican-themed dinner April 27 at 5:30 p.m.

Four renowned chefs will come together in the kitchen to create the ultimate fiesta for Downtown diners. Chicos y chicas are able to choose from four appetizers and four entrees from the chefs along with three desserts from pastry chef Heidi Kovall to create a customized meal at $60 per person.

  • Appetizer: Porkbelly chorizo queso fundido with roasted pablanos, Asadero cheese and a hand-made flour tortilla
  • Entrée: Tequila lobster tacos with jalapeño Albacar, basil cream and pickled cabbage

  • Appetizer: Snapper ceviche with passion fruit, avocado, lime, plantain and radish
  • Entrée: Birra De Chivo Tostada with jalapeño crema, shaved lettuce and salted tomatoes

  • Entrée: Cochinita pibil with habanero pickled red onions and roasted fingerling potatoes

  • Dessert: Tres leche cake with caramelized bananas and cajeta ice cream
