Noble 33, the global hospitality group recognized for their restaurant concepts Toca Madera, Casa Madera, and Sparrow Italia, expands their portfolio to the East Coast with the launch of Meduza Mediterrania – expected to arrive in New York City’s Meatpacking District in fall of 2023.
An upscale, high-energy dining experience helmed by Noble 33 Co-Founders Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha, Meduza will be located at 18 9th Avenue, New York, NY 10014, expanding across an elaborate 8,870 square-foot, iconic ground-level location at the foot of the Gansevoort Hotel that previously housed Provocateur. Designed by Noble 33’s award-winning, in-house design firm, Monochrome Concept, the space will house 200 indoor and outdoor seats with a 30-person circular bar and three dining rooms, featuring a mezzanine private dining space and an outdoor atrium with a retractable enclosure.
The innovative menu, curated by Noble 33’s Corporate Executive Chef AJ McCloud, builds upon traditional Mediterranean cuisine while respecting the rich culinary heritage that has made the region and its food so popular. McCloud’s artfully-presented plates are structured around sustainably sourced ingredients featuring bold and inventive eastern Mediterranean flavors, inspired by different destinations within the region. Mirroring the influence of Mediterranean cuisine, Noble 33’s Beverage Director Carla Lorenzo curates a sophisticated and approachable beverage menu with key ingredients including dates, figs, and indigenous Mediterranean spices. Alongside a cocktail menu and a reserve list of the world’s finest spirits, wines, and champagnes, Meduza Mediterrania will feature a zero-proof beverage menu with probiotic elixirs and a full hydration menu.
Dedicated to creating unmatched culinary experiences in their favorite cities across the globe, Noble 33’s Meduza Mediterrania will be the brand’s second of seven total anticipated openings through 2023. Marking their entry into the east coast with Meduza Mediterrania, Noble 33 will also launch experiences in Miami and Houston later this year.
