PREPARE TO INDULGE WITH SCARPETTA’S NEWEST SHARED DINING EXPERIENCE, THE FAMILY TABLE
Beginning Sunday, July 5, Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s AAA Four Diamond award-winning Italian restaurant, Scarpetta will offer diners the perfect option for Sunday night sustenance. No one likes to see the weekend end, but winding down with friends and family at Scarpetta while sharing a wonderful meal should help ease the pain. Created by Chef Scott Conant and Scarpetta Miami Beach chef de cuisine Marlon Rambaran, The Family Table Sunday night feast is especially designed for sharing with family and friends and priced at $45 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity. With menu selections changing constantly, it’s easy to see The Family Table becoming a new tradition as diners can enjoy different dishes every week. The entire party must participate for this four-course, family-style menu, with portions adjusted to the party’s size. Guaranteed to please, this is an Italian-style Sunday dinner elevated to the next level.
As always, meals at Scarpetta begin with its signature, complimentary bread basket, featuring piping hot Stromboli and eggplant caponata. From there Primi piatti, enjoy Burrata with broccoli rabe pesto and Chicken Liver & Foie Gras Pate. Piatti offerings include Eggplant Ravioli with sausage, arugula pecorino and hazelnuts; Local Grilled Snapper with ramp puree, concentrated tomato and caper emulsion; Porchetta with Swiss chard, charred onion and balsamic and Whole Roasted Spiced Cornish Hen with farro and Cipollini onion. The jaw-dropping moment of any Family Table meal will no doubt be when the Timpano – a traditional Italian baked pasta dish – emerges from the kitchen for tableside service. Each diner will receive a slice, classically served at room temperature and dressed with hot tomato sauce. Housed within the 30 lb. delicacy is layers upon layers of what Conant calls “everything good in the world” – pasta, meats, soft and hard cheeses, you name it. So good, diners will fight over the last bite. Of course, dinner will conclude with Dolce: Tiramisu with Mascarpone mousse; Mixed Berry Crisp with vanilla gelato and Coconut Panna Cotta with caramelized pineapple and guava “soup.” Come meal’s end, diners will be hard pressed to say when they ate so well, on Miami Beach, at such a reasonable cost.
For those looking to elevate their Family Table experience, an array of add-ons are offered, including a sommelier selected wine pairing ($40 per person), $12 red, white and rosé wine quartinos and additional Scott Conant signature selections available a la carte, from Creamy Polenta with fricassee of truffled mushrooms ($8) to the Chef’s renowned Spaghetti with tomato and basil ($10).
