PORTLAND, Maine – Beginning Thursday, August 13, 2015, TIQA invites guests to experience Mediterranean cuisine in a whole new way with their Chef’s Table dinners. Each week a new menu will highlight the flavors of a single country, celebrating the food of the region and providing guests an in depth look at the cuisine of places like Morocco, Algiers, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, and France and many more countries around the Mediterranean sea.

These exclusive dining experiences take place at TIQA’s Chef’s Bar, facing the open kitchen, with a full view of the preparation that goes into the meal. Chef Bob Krajewski will present the first course, to introduce the evening’s featured country and the inspiration behind the meal.

The Chef’s Bar seats a maximum of 15 guests in comfortable handmade Merano stools by European designer Alex Gufler. The Chef’s Table dinners are $50 per person or $65 per person with wine pairings included. Chef’s Table dinners are available every night of the week except for Saturday, and the week’s featured country will be announced each Thursday on TIQA’s Facebook page. The first week will offer a Moroccan feast. Reservations for the dinners are limited to 15 guests per night. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 207-808-8840.
