Comedians for Communities to Raise $25,000 for 10 Different Local Charities

(Chicago, Ill.) – For the thirteenth year, Mikey O Comedy is pleased to present another “Comedians for Communities” event, the Holiday Giggle, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Joe’s Bar on Weed Street. This evening of laughter, music, and giving will bring together ten local Chicago comedians, each to raise money for ten local charities, for one night only. Each comedian will donate their time, and 100% of the profits will go directly to the charities involved. For the past eleven years, this event has sold out raising a net profit of $25,000, divided between the ten participating charities, giving each charity $2,500 after the event.

A Holiday Giggle Cocktail will be sold in a commemorative cup for $10 throughout the evening. The Executive Director of each charity will guest-bartend every half-hour throughout the event, and the proceeds of each Holiday Giggle Cocktail sold by each Executive Director during their shift will benefit their charity. The Holiday Giggle Cocktail is a Ruby Red Paloma made of a tequila, ruby red grapefruit juice, soda, and lime.

Tickets for the 13th Annual Holiday Giggle may be purchased directly from the charities involved or online at http://mikeyocomedy.com/. Tickets are $25.00 per person. Cash food and beverage will be available at Joe’s, but no two-drink minimum is required.
